The people you work with are an important factor, our chief designer and lets be honest our only designer, Alan Hudson, me, have been in this trade since in school. My experience weighs more then 10 years. More importantly I am an ordinary person that lives an ordinary life meaning I am not a touchy creative type or someone that looks up my nose at you because i have a vast knowledge in a field you need help in.

I regularly take courses on the latest programming code practices and using the latest software to which again I am deemed as an expert in Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop. Do i think I am an expert? ............ No, just someone that loves his work and is good at it.

I also have an order of doing things, everything is done in steps, at the end of each step i submit my work to you for approval, if you don't like or want to change things at the step where at, i do them and resubmit only continuing to the next step when your happy 100%. I have found this to be better for both of us, it means your more involved and can see progress as it goes along and i don't have to redo large parts of the sites causing you to be waiting for the web site to be completed longer.

Live a bit to far away, think do you really need to meet your web designer? Yes its nice to meet my clients face to face but in all honesty i have only ever met around 2% of my clients. There is a good 20% of my clients that i haven't even spoken to on the phone. One of our biggest clients is a good 100 miles away from us and over a 2 year relationship we only speak on the phone about once every 2 months and have never met. Another client i have been doing business with for over 3 years i still haven't spoken to. Most of our communication is over emails.
